Starting from today some photos of mine are on www.art-mine.com site for sale. ArtMine is the Agora Gallery’s premiere online fine art gallery for art professionals and enthusiasts, including private and corporate collectors, interior designers and art consultants. This contemporary art collection, operated by Agora Gallery, offers the opportunity to view and buy artwork by some of the most exciting national and international contemporary artists.

This is the first concrete step of my artistic representation started on the end of december with Agora Gallery. In next months other photos will be added to ArtMine site but, mainly, there will be a photographic exhibition of three weeks in the heart of New York, in Manhattan.

One might think that’s a brand new flight segment, but it’s just a list of places where I exhibited and will exhibit my pictures… now it’s New York City turn, folk!

Thanks to my website, one of the most prestigious Art Galleries in New York City got in touch with me asking if I was willing to exhibit my pictures right in the heart of Manhattan, at Chelsea, crossroads for artists from all over the world!

It’s useless trying to convey you my feelings while receiving and reading that proposal. It represents an achievement of my personal goal and the fulfillment of my childhood dream. My passion is becoming, day by day, something real and concrete.

Over the coming weeks I’ll be giving you some more information about this new exciting adventure. Right now we are about to set the whole project, trying to anticipate any possible issues that could obviously arise from such an important event: travel arrangement, delivery of pictures, accommodation, etc.

A special thanks to all the people who are visiting my website and thank you so much also to those who are in the wings. I’m aware you are out there in hundreds, thousands… millions! I express my thanks to all of you: you are the reason why I’m here and this website exists, you are the one and only reason for which its visibility increases day by day.

I also thought to home bookmark icon.
It’s easy to insert a bookmark into iPhone home. All you have to do is a clic on plus sign (+), just in the middle of bottom bar, clearly visible in the screenshot above, select “Add to Home”, write the preferred name et voilà, our icon is well shown among others.

If you want to add a comment you don’t have to register/login. All you have to do is leave a name, a real email and a comment (Site has an antispam filter which controls each entry )

Always related to comments, now you can receive comment notification when someone (probably me) insert a comment after your post. You can set this through a specific checkbox under the comment itself.

Right side bar now has the sections inverted: albums are first shown, then blog information.

Last, but not least, site content is optimized for iPhone (How could I not have done so? :-D )

Please, be patient. If you find some imperfection, mostly now at the beginning, report it and I’ll appreciate.

I’ve added other 3 panoramic photos, made in my last trip in New York.
One of them is made at the dusk from TopOfTheRock, Central Park view. Second one is Niagara Falls, with both Canadian (on the right, the “Horseshoe”) and American (on the left) side, with a nice rainbow. Last but not the least is a stunning view on downtown Manhattan from Ellis Island.

Details of this last photo is quite impressive! Made with 21 shots, merged and cropped, is an equivalent image of 33 Mpixel. If I would print it, at 150dpi it will be 2,68m x 35cm. A 100% crop shows many details, including Chrysler Building, which in web version is not so clear.

This is the proof: a crop at 100%. Empire aside you can see o the right MetLife and as famous as loved Chrysler. Keep in mind that I was 8km distant. Not so bad, isn’t it?
