About me

Where do I start?!? It is difficult to make oneself known through an Internet page, I prefer the old fashioned way, in person. But I realise that it is not so easy to reach people so far away and then it would be nonsense to have created a site and not use it for what it is…and so I will try.

I was born in 1974, I work as a web application developer and I have a fantastic hobby, as you will have understood it is photography.

I would like it to become something even more than a hobby, because it is something that I have adored since I was a young boy.  I began taking pictures with my sister’s camera, a 35 mm analogical reflex, with which I fell in love with all the themes of diaphragm, exposure time, focal length… but the primal concept of photography fascinated me: to freeze the moment, to be able to relive it every time you want. Capture the memory of a glance, fix it forever on paper (and today even on file!) my vision of the surrounding world.

Much time has passed and many things have changed in my life, but never has this passion lessened. In the mean time I have obviously progressed to digital, like the good computer scientist I am, and now I have “fun” with my Canon EOS 400D which accompanies me on all my travels.

I hope that the photos you find on this page convey to you emotions and just as for me in the moment in which I pushed the shutter button and still today that I look at them.
